Submission from Peter Baker:
I kept it like this for as long as I could before moving more stuff in. It was the most productive time yet.
I only received this today, but despite the huge backlog I felt its excellence merited an entry sooner rather than later. You can view the image larger here, and more of Peter’s stunning photography on his website.

Carroll Gardens Abode:
As natives of Brooklyn who loathed the darkness of traditional row houses, we were driven to infuse this space with abundant natural light and air by maintaining an open staircase.

‘Mama Shelter Marseille’:
An interesting studio. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any further details, so sadly we only have the image to enjoy.

The Delfin & Postigo House:
A very tasteful, understated workspace. On a side note, though, it would be nice to see more offices without white walls. There’s nothing wrong with something warmer; minimalism doesn’t have to be cold and sterile.

Woven Desk:
A personal workspace creates a higher concentration at work, but reduces social contact. When these two principles are combined in a functional way, we create a workplace that allows people to work with concentration, but without losing contact with their surroundings.
An interesting concept with powerful ideals, but ultimately a bit impractical. Nonetheless, experimental contributions like this are very much worth the effort, and although it isn’t suitable for mainstream use, I’m sure there will be many out there who would love such a desk.
