Weekly Remainders: An Advice Special

What desk to buy (or build!), what to do with it once you’ve bought it, and some simple desktop wallpapers to match your simple workspace: it’s this week’s remainders.

  • Little Thing: Desks: An article by Ben Brooks detailing the things you need to think about before purchasing a new desk. Full of good advice. From The Brooks Review.

  • 10 Steps to a Home Office You’ll Love: Some excellent fundamentals on how to make your workspace a lovely place to work. All ten are well worth a read.
    From Apartment Therapy.

  • Simple Desktops: A wonderful resource full of tasteful, simple desktop wallpapers “designed to make your computer beautiful without distraction”.

Every week there are a ton of entries that don’t get posted. Sometimes, they don’t quite match the focus of the site, or I don’t feel their quality merits inclusion. The best of these remainders are featured every Friday.
